If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God: or whether I spake of myself.

Paul would that he should go forth with him, and took and circumcised him because of the jewes which were in those quarters, for they knew all that his father was a greek.

If any man think himself a prophet either spiritual: let him understand, what things I write unto you. For they are the commandments of the Lord.

¶ And I could not speak unto you brethren as unto spiritual: but as unto carnal, even as it were unto babes in Christ.

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, which will lighten things that are hid in darkness: and open the counsels of the hearts. And then shall every man have praise of God.

¶ For this cause we also, since the day we heard of it have not ceased praying for you, and desiring that ye might be fulfilled with the knowledge of his will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

Examine all things. Reap that which is good.

But strong meat belongeth to them that are perfect, which thorow custom have their wits exercised, to judge both good and evil also.

¶ And ye have an ointment of the holy ghost, and ye know all things.

¶ Dearly beloved believe not every spirit: but prove the spirits whether they are of God, or no: for many false prophets are gone out in to the world.
