¶ For this cause many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep.
For David after he had in his time fulfilled the will of God, he slept, and was laid with his fathers, and saw corruption.
And he kneeled down and cried with a loud voice: Lord impute not this sin unto them, For they wote not what they do. And when he had thus spoken he fell asleep.
For he that eateth or drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh his own damnation, because he maketh no difference of the Lord's body.
If we had truly judged ourselves, we should not have been judged.
When we are judged of the Lord we are chastened, because we should not be damned with the world.
Behold I shew a mystery unto you: we shall not all sleep: but we shall all be changed,
For if we believe that Iesus died, and rose again: even so them also which sleep by Iesus, will God bring again with him.
¶ As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Be fervent therefore and repent.
