So Jesus put out His hand and touched him, and said, »I am willing: be cleansed.« Instantly he was cleansed from his leprosy;

Then He said to the man, »Stretch out your arm.« And he stretched it out, and it was restored quite sound like the other.

Moved with pity Jesus reached out His hand and touched him. »I am willing,« He said; »be cleansed.«

So He roused Himself and rebuked the wind, and said to the waves, »Silence! Be still!« The wind sank, and a perfect calm set in.

Then, taking her by the hand, He says to her, »Talitha, koum;« that is to say, »Little girl, I command you to wake!«

and looking up to Heaven He sighed, and said to him, »Ephphatha!« (that is, »Open!«)

Then Jesus, seeing that an increasing crowd was running towards Him, rebuked the foul spirit, and said to it, »Dumb and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter into him again.«

And there was also many a leper in Israel in the time of the Prophet Elisha, and yet not one of them was cleansed, but Naaman the Syrian was.«

Reaching out His hand and touching him, Jesus said, »I am willing; be cleansed!« And instantly the leprosy left him.

Then He went close and touched the bier, and the bearers halted. »Young man,« He said, »I command you, wake!«

After speaking thus, He called out in a loud voice, »Lazarus, come out.«

If I had not done among them, as I have, such miracles as no one else ever did, they would have had no sin; but they have in fact seen and also hated both me and my Father.

For just as the Father awakens the dead and gives them life, so the Son also gives life to whom He wills.
