Then Jesus turned round, and seeing them following He asked them, »What is your wish?« »Rabbi,« they replied- `Rabbi' means `Teacher' »where are you staying?«

»Rabbi,« cried Nathanael, »you are the Son of God, you are Israel's King!«

»Rabbi,« exclaimed the disciples, »the Jews have just been trying to stone you, and do you think of going back there again?«

»Mary!« said Jesus. She turned to Him. »Rabboni!« she cried in Hebrew: the word means `Teacher!'

He came to Jesus by night and said, »Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher from God; for no one can do these miracles which you are doing, unless God is with him.

they came to John and reported to him, »Rabbi, he who was with you on the other side of the Jordan and to whom you bore testimony is now baptizing, and great numbers of people are resorting to him.«

Meanwhile the disciples were urging Jesus. »Rabbi,« they said, »eat something.«

So when they had crossed the Lake and had found Him, they asked Him, »Rabbi, when did you come here?«

So His disciples asked Him, »Rabbi, who sinned –this man or his parents– that he was born blind?«
