So He directed them to make all sit down in companies on the green grass.

So He bade all the people sit down on the ground,

»How many loaves have you?« He inquired; »go and see.« So they found out, and said, »Five; and a couple of fish.«

And they sat down in rows of hundreds and of fifties.

(For there were about 5,000 adult men.) But He said to His disciples, »Make them sit down in parties of about fifty each.«

»Make the people sit down,« said Jesus. The ground was covered with thick grass; so they sat down, the adult men numbering about 5,000.

For God is not a God of disorder, but of peace, as He is in all the Churches of His people.

only let everything be done in a becoming and orderly manner.
