Here they offered Him wine mixed with myrrh; but He refused it.
The disciples did as Jesus directed them, and got the Passover ready.
Here they gave Him a mixture of wine and gall to drink, but having tasted it He refused to drink it.
I solemnly tell you that never again will I taste the produce of the vine till I shall drink the new wine in the Kingdom of God.«
for I tell you that from this time I will never drink the produce of the vine till the Kingdom of God has come.«
And the soldiers also made sport of Him, coming and offering Him sour wine and saying,
