»But, next, the man who had the one talent in his keeping came and said,« `Sir, I knew you to be a severe man, reaping where you had not sown and garnering what you had not winnowed.

And he called ten of his servants and gave each of them a pound, instructing them to trade with the money during his absence.

»So he said to this one also,« `And you, be the governor of five towns.'

For I was afraid of you, because you are a severe man: you take up what you did not lay down, and you reap what you did not sow.'

And even now the axe is lying at the root of the trees, so that every tree which fails to yield good fruit will quickly be hewn down and thrown into the fire.«

»And why do you all call me `Master, Master' and yet not do what I tell you?«

The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped in cloths, and his face wrapped round with a towel. »Untie him,« said Jesus, »and let him go free.«

and the towel, which had been placed over the face of Jesus, not lying with the cloths, but folded up and put by itself.

If, however, a man knows what it is right to do and yet does not do it, he commits a sin.
