So He entered Jericho and was passing through the town.
They came to Jericho; and as He was leaving that town –Himself and His disciples and a great crowd– Bartimaeus (the son of Timaeus), a blind beggar, was sitting by the way-side.
As Jesus came near to Jericho, there was a blind man sitting by the way-side begging.
There was a man there called Zacchaeus, who was the local surveyor of taxes, and was wealthy.
