For God's bread is that which comes down out of Heaven and gives Life to the world.«

For I have left Heaven and have come down to earth not to seek my own pleasure, but to do the will of Him who sent me.

And He who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone: for I do always what is pleasing to Him.«

In all things I have set you an example, showing you that, by working as I do, you ought to help the weak, and to bear in mind the words of the Lord Jesus, how He Himself said, »`It is more blessed to give than to receive.'«

simply fixing our gaze upon Jesus, our Prince Leader in the faith, who will also award us the prize. He, for the sake of the joy which lay before Him, patiently endured the cross, looking with contempt upon its shame, and afterwards seated Himself – where He still sits– at the right hand of the throne of God.
