Philip and Bartholomew, Thomas and Matthew the tax-gatherer, James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;

»O unbelieving generation!« replied Jesus; »how long must I be with you? how long must I have patience with you? Bring the boy to me.«

»O dull-witted men,« He replied, »with minds so slow to believe all that the Prophets have spoken!

»Let us go also,« Thomas, the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, »that we may die with him.«

And where I am going, you all know the way.«

This is my commandment to you, to love one another as I have loved you.

But now I an returning to Him who sent me; and not one of you asks me where I am going.
