Everything, therefore, be it what it may, that you would have men do to you, do you also the same to them; for in this the Law and the Prophets are summed up.

The second is this: `Thou shalt love thy fellow man as thou lovest thyself.' »Other Commandment greater than these there is none.«

and To love Him with all one's heart, with all one's understanding, and with all one's strength, and to love one's fellow man no less than oneself, is far better than all our whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices.«

A new commandment I give you, to love one another; that as I have loved you, you also may love one another.

I marvel that you are so readily leaving Him who called you by the grace of Christ, and are adhering to a different Good News.

Always carry one another's burdens, and so obey the whole of Christ's Law.

But the end sought to be secured by exhortation is the love which springs from a pure heart, a clear conscience and a sincere faith.
