But you, whenever you pray, go into your own room and shut the door: then pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father –He who sees in secret– will recompense you.

When however the place was cleared of the crowd, Jesus went in, and on His taking the little girl by the hand, she rose up.

Then Jesus, seeing that an increasing crowd was running towards Him, rebuked the foul spirit, and said to it, »Dumb and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter into him again.«

But He Himself withdrew from them about a stone's throw, and knelt down and prayed repeatedly, saying,
