Then shall the trees of the wood sing at the presence of the LORD, because he cometh to judge the earth.

Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.

Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.

Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.

Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.

Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he will judge the people righteously.

Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness will he judge the world, and the people with equity.

The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

And a man shall be as a hiding-place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as streams of water in a dry place, as the shade of a great rock in a weary land.

And he will be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offense to both the houses of Israel, for a trap and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent to thee; how often would I have gathered thy children, as a hen gathereth her brood under her wings, and ye would not!

The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee, and shall say, Destroy them.

That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
