To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm of David. O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have built?

David's Psalm of praise. I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

Who is like to thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders!

His mouth is most sweet: yes, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us; but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.

God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.

If David then calleth him Lord, how is he his son?
