O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.

Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?

Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like them that go down into the pit.

Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.

This thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.

Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.

Draw nigh to my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of my enemies.

But I am poor and needy: make haste to me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no delay.
