A Prayer of David. Hear the right, O LORD, attend to my cry, give ear to my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.

And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned to me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the LORD.

This people draw nigh to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

Beloved, if our heart doth not condemn us, then have we confidence towards God.
