These are the families of Judah according to those that were numbered of them, seventy six thousand and five hundred.

Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise; thy hand shall be on the neck of thy enemies: thy father's children shall bow down before thee.

For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birth-right was Joseph's:)
