And behold, they brought to him a man sick with the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the sick of the palsy, Son, be of good cheer; thy sins are forgiven thee.

But Jesus turned himself about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.)

For which is easier, to say, Thy sins are forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick with the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go to thy house.

And at evening, when the sun had set, they brought to him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with demons.

And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called: and they call the blind man, saying to him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.

And he said to her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be healed of thy infirmity.

(For they all saw him, and were troubled.) And immediately he talked with them, and saith to them, Be of good cheer: It is I; be not afraid.

These things I have spoken to you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye will have tribulation, but be of good cheer: I have overcome the world.

And needed not that any should testify concerning man: for he knew what was in man.

Then Jesus saith to them, Children, have ye any victuals? They answered him, No.

The same heard Paul speak: who steadfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,

So that from his body were brought to the sick, handkerchiefs, or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified concerning me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear testimony also at Rome.

And not only so, but we also joy in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Also a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works.
