And after six days, Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them upon a high mountain apart.

Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children, with her sons, worshiping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.

And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets: and he called them.

And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.

And being in an agony, he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling to the ground.

Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause I came to this hour.
