So Absalom dwelt two full years in Jerusalem, and saw not the king's face.

He that heareth you, heareth me; and he that despiseth you, despiseth me; and he that despiseth me, despiseth him that sent me.

And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by angels into Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died, and was buried:

He saw in a vision evidently, about the ninth hour of the day, an angel of God coming in to him, and saying to him, Cornelius.

And they said to her, Thou art insane. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then they said, It is his angel.

And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten by worms, and died.

But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at naught thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment-seat of Christ.

It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing by which thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.

Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come to me: for I look for him with the brethren.

To the weak I became as weak, that I might gain the weak: I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

Now I Paul myself beseech you, by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold towards you:

For his letters (say they) are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.

Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye who are spiritual, restore such one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given to us his holy Spirit.

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in deportment, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall inherit salvation?

For Christ hath not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

And I saw the seven angels who stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
