Only the LORD give thee wisdom and understanding, and give thee charge concerning Israel, that thou mayest keep the law of the LORD thy God.

Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy great people?

Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

And whatever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye may ask what ye will, and it shall be done to you.

Jesus answered and said to her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldst have asked him, and he would have given thee living water.

To the one we are the savor of death to death; and to the other the savor of life to life. And who is sufficient for these things?

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous man availeth much.

And whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
