And Abraham hastened into the tent to Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.

And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they ate.

And he urged them greatly; and they turned in to him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.

That lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches, and eat lambs from the flock, and calves from the midst of the stall;

But cursed be the deceiver, who hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth to the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.

Again, he sent other servants, saying, Tell them who are invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come to the marriage.

And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

And he said to him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him in health.

But as soon as this thy son had come, who hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.

And the woman had a fat calf in the house: and she hasted and killed it, and took flour, and kneaded it, and baked unleavened bread of it.
