So we, by our union in Christ, many though we are, form but one body, and individually we are related one to another as its parts.

Now I am to be in this world no longer, but they are still to be in the world, and I am to come to thee. Holy Father, keep them by that revelation of thy Name which thou has given me, that they may be one, as we are.

For, just as in the human body there is a union of many parts, and each part has its own function,

The Bread is one, and we, though many, are one body; for we all partake of that one Bread.

For I, also, try to please everybody in everything, not seeking my own advantage, but that of men in general, that they may be saved.

But in fact, although it has many parts, there is only one body.

Do not you know that your bodies are Christ's members? Am I, then, to take the members that belong to the Christ and make them the members of a prostitute? Heaven forbid!

For the Church is Christ's Body, and is filled by him who fills all things everywhere with his presence.

To fit his People for the work of the ministry, for the building up of the Body of the Christ.

Since, therefore, you have cast off what is false, 'you must every one of you speak the truth to your neighbors.' For we are united to one another like the parts of a body.

For a man is the Head of his wife, as the Christ is the Head of the Church--being indeed himself the Savior of his Body.

For we are members of his Body.

Now at last I can rejoice in my sufferings on your behalf, and in my own person I supplement the afflictions endured by the Christ, for the sake of his Body, the Church;

He fails to maintain union with the Head, to whom it is due that the whole body, nourished and knit together by the contact and Keynesian of every part, grows with a divine growth.
