The next morning, in returning to the city, Jesus became hungry;
About the same time Jesus walked through the corn-fields one Sabbath. His disciples were hungry, and began to pick some ears of wheat and eat them.
And, after he had fasted for forty days and forty nights, he became hungry.
All that time he ate nothing; and, when it was over, he became hungry.
Our High Priest is not one unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has in every way been tempted, exactly as we have been, but without sinning.
