After this, Judas Iscariot, one of the Twelve, went to the Chief Priests, to betray Jesus to them.

Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot--the Apostle who betrayed him.

They were glad to hear what he said, and promised to pay him. So he looked for a way to betray Jesus opportunely.

And Judas Iscariot, the man that betrayed him.

The Devil had already put the thought of betraying Jesus into the mind of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon;

After taking the piece of bread, Judas went out immediately; and it was night.
