But Jesus looked at them, and said: "With men this is impossible, but with God everything is possible." Then Peter turned and said to Jesus:

"Then who can be saved?" they exclaimed in the greatest astonishment.

For no promise from God shall fail to be fulfilled."

But Jesus said: "What is impossible with men is possible with God."

Who, by the exercise of his power to bring everything into subjection to himself, will make this body that we have in our humiliation like to that body which he has in his Glory.

For he argued that God was able even to raise a man from the dead--and indeed, figuratively speaking, Abraham did receive Isaac back from the dead.

And that is why he is able to save perfectly those who come to God through him, living for ever, as he does, to intercede of their behalf.
