One day about that time, Jesus got into a boat with his disciples and said to them: "Let us go across the lake."

Immediately afterwards Jesus made the disciples get into a boat and cross over in advance of him, while he dismissed the crowds.

Seeing a crowd round him, Jesus gave orders to go across.

By the time Jesus had re-crossed in the boat to the opposite shore, a great number of people had gathered to meet him, and were standing by the Sea.

Immediately afterwards Jesus made his disciples get into the boat, and cross over in advance, in the direction of Bethsaida, while he himself was dismissing the crowd.

So he left them to themselves, and, getting into the boat again, went away to the opposite shore.

Once, when the people were pressing round Jesus as the listened to God's Message, he happened to be standing by the shore of the Lake of Gennesaret, and saw two boats close to the shore.

So they put off. While they were sailing, Jesus fell asleep. A squall swept down upon the lake, and their boat was filling and they were in danger.

They came out from the man and took possession of the pigs; and the drove rushed down the steep slope into the lake and were drowned.

After this, Jesus crossed the Sea of Galilee--otherwise called the Lake of Tiberias.

We went on board a ship from Adramyttium, which was on the point of sailing to the ports along the coast of Roman Asia, and put to sea. Aristarchus, a Macedonian from Thessalonica, went with us.
