As Jesus passed by, he saw a man who had been blind from his birth.

Two blind men who were sitting by the road-side, hearing that Jesus was passing, called out: "Take pity on us, Master, Son of David!"

As Jesus was passing on from there, he was followed by two blind men, who kept calling out: "Take pity on us, Son of David!"

"How long has he been like this?" Jesus asked the boy's father.

And a woman, who had suffered from hemorrhage for twelve years, and whom no one could cure,

One man who was there had been afflicted for thirty-eight years.

At this they took up stones to throw at him; but Jesus hid himself, and left the Temple Courts.

"Rabbi," asked his disciples, "who was it that sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"

In the streets of Lystra there used to sit a man who had no power in his feet; he had been lame from his birth, and had never walked.

When the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another: "Evidently this man is a murderer, for though he has been saved from the sea, Justice has not allowed him to live."

For the man who was the subject of this miraculous cure was more than forty years old.

There he found a man named Aeneas, who had been bed-ridden for eight years with paralysis.
