Jesus himself, too, with his disciples, was invited to the wedding.

He shall not contend, nor cry aloud, Neither shall any one hear his voice in the streets;

And the King will reply 'I tell you, as often as you did it to one of these my Brothers, however lowly, you did it to me.'

And then he will reply 'I tell you, as often as you failed to do it to one of these, however lowly, you failed to do it to me.'

After this, Jesus went down to Capernaum--he, his mother, his brothers, and his disciples; but they stayed there only a few days.

His disciples remembered that Scripture said--'Zeal for thy House will consume me.'

Afterwards, when he had risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this; and they believed the passage of Scripture, and the words which Jesus had spoken.

And, when the wine ran short, his mother said to him: "They have no wine left."

After this, Jesus went with his disciples into the country parts of Judea; and there he stayed with them, and baptized.

(Though it was not Jesus himself, but his disciples, who baptized),

"Can any one have brought him anything to eat?" the disciples said to one another.

For his disciples had gone into the town to buy food.

When they were satisfied, Jesus said to his disciples: "Collect the broken pieces that are left, so that nothing may be wasted."

When evening fell, his disciples went down to the Sea,

On hearing it, many of his disciples said: "This is harsh doctrine! Who can bear to listen to it?"

After this many of his disciples drew back, and did not go about with him any longer.

So Jesus said to the Twelve: "Do you also wish to leave me?"

"Did not I myself choose you to be the Twelve?" replied Jesus; "and yet, even of you, one is playing the 'Devil's' part."

He meant Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, who was about to betray him, though he was one of the Twelve.

"There is a boy here," said Andrew, another of his disciples, Simon Peter's brother,

His brothers said to him: "Leave this part of the country, and go into Judea, so that your disciples, as well as we, may see the work that you are doing.

And, when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. And so it came about that, for a whole year, they attended the meetings of the Church there, and taught a large number of people; and it was in Antioch that the disciples were first called 'Christians.'

So the disciples, without exception, determined, in proportion to their means, to send something to help the Brethren living in Judea.

Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do everything to the honor of God.

A wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives; but, if the husband should pass to his rest, the widow is free to marry any one she wishes, provided he is a believer.

And, whatever you say or do, do everything in the Name of the Lord Jesus; and through him offer thanksgiving to God the father.

Let marriage be honoured by all and the married life be pure; for God will judge those who are immoral and those who commit adultery.

I am standing at the door and knocking! If any one hears my voice and opens the door, I will go in, and will feast with him, and he shall feast with me.
