Therefore we may say with confidence-- 'The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?'
And do not be afraid of those who kill the body, but are unable to kill the soul; rather be afraid of him who is able to destroy both soul and body in the Pit.
What are we to say, then, in the light of all this? If God is on our side, who can there be against us?
And in union with him, and through our trust in him, we find courage to approach God with confidence.
Therefore, Brothers, since we may enter the Sanctuary with confidence, in virtue of the blood of Jesus,
Therefore, let us draw near boldly to the Throne of Love, to find pity and love for the hour of need.
