Giving her his hand, Peter raised her up, and, calling in the widows and others of Christ's People, presented her to them alive.

Jesus went up to her and, grasping her hand, raised her up; the fever left her, and she began to wait upon them.

Just as he approached the gate of the town, there was a dead man being carried out for burial--an only son, and his mother was a widow. A large number of the people of the town were with her.
