And Jesus said to his disciples: "That is why I say to you, Do not be anxious about the life here--what you can get to eat; nor yet about your body--what you can get to wear.

While the next said 'I am just married, and for that reason I am unable to come.'

He does this because he is only a hired man and does not care about the sheep.

A husband should give his wife her due, and a wife her husband.

I want you to be free from anxiety. The unmarried man is anxious about the Master's Cause, desiring to please him;

And so his interests are divided. Again, the unmarried woman, whether she is old or young, is anxious about the Master's Cause, striving to be pure both in body and in spirit, while the married woman is anxious about worldly matters, desiring to please her husband.

Husbands, love your wives, and never treat them harshly.

Any one who fails to provide for his own relations, and especially for those under his own roof, has disowned the Faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.

Again, those of you who are married men should live considerately with their wives, showing due regard to their sex, as weaker than their own, and not forgetting that they share with you in the gift of Life. Then you will be able to pray without hindrance.
