But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory, through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

I have spoken to you in this way, so that in me you may find peace. In the world you will find trouble; yet, take courage! I have conquered the world."

With these words he took some bread, and, after saying the thanksgiving to God before them all, broke it in pieces, and began to eat;
