His head is purest gold, his hair is wavy, black as a raven.

I opened to my lover— but my lover had departed, he was gone! My soul went out to him when he spoke. I searched for him, but did not find him. I called him, but he did not answer me.

Yet my dove, my perfect one is unique. She is her mother’s only one— a virtuous child of the one who bore her. Maidens saw her and called her blessed. Queens and concubines praised her.

I said, “I will climb the date palm and take hold of its fruit.” May your breasts be like clusters of the vine, the fragrance of your breath like apple.

Many waters cannot quench love, nor rivers wash it away. If one gave all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly despised.

I gave My back to those who strike, and My cheeks to those pulling out My beard; I did not hide My face from humiliation and spitting.

Just as many were appalled at You— His appearance was disfigured more than any man, His form more than the sons of men.

“While he was speaking to me, I fell into a deep sleep with my face to the ground. But he touched me and stood me up,

Then the angel who had been speaking with me returned and woke me—like a man who is wakened from his sleep.

For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it shall be opened.

So was fulfilled what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, “He Himself took our sicknesses and carried away our diseases.”

Very early, while it was still night, Yeshua got up, left, and went away to a place in the wilderness; and there He was praying.

And in His anguish, He was praying fervently; and His sweat was like drops of blood falling down on the ground.

And it was during these days that Yeshua went out to the mountain to pray, and He spent all night in prayer to God.

Now Peter and those with him were overcome with sleep. But when they awakened, they saw Yeshua’s glory and the two men standing with Him.

“When he has brought out all his own, he goes ahead of them; and the sheep follow him because they know his voice.

and it is no longer I who live, but Messiah lives in me. And the life I now live in the body, I live by trusting in Ben-Elohim—who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

for everything made visible is light. This is why it says, “Wake up, O sleeper! Rise from the dead, and Messiah will shine on you.”

These are the ones who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been redeemed from among mankind as firstfruits for God and the Lamb.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.

“But still, you have a few people in Sardis who have not stained their clothes. They will walk with Me in white, because they are worthy.
