For through law I died to law, so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Messiah;

But may I never boast—except in the cross of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah. Through Him the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

If you died with Messiah to the basic principles of the world, why—as though living in the world—do you subject yourselves to their rules?

For you have died, and your life is hidden with Messiah in God.

Like obedient children, do not be shaped by the cravings you had formerly in your ignorance.

He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we, removed from sins, might live for righteousness. “By His wounds you were healed.”

No one born of God practices sin, because God’s seed remains in him. He cannot sin, because he is born of God.
