Though the wicked spring up like grass, and all evildoers flourish, it is only to be ruined forever.

But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, Adonai will lead them away with evildoers. Shalom be upon Israel.

For like the grass they soon wither and fade like a green herb.

Be gracious to me, O God! For man has crushed me, fighting all day he oppresses me.

until I entered the Sanctuary of God, and perceived their end.

Surely You put them in slippery places. You hurled them down to destruction.

Let them be ashamed and dismayed forever. Let them be humiliated and perish.

More than the sounds of many waters— more majestic than the breakers of the sea— so majestic is Adonai on high!

Now I know that Adonai is greater than all gods, since they had acted arrogantly against them.”
