Adonai, God of my salvation, day and night I cried out before You.
If a man sins against his neighbor and is made to take an oath, then comes and swears before Your altar in this House,
I am up before dawn, crying for help— I put my hope in Your word.
O my God, I cried out by day, but You did not answer, by night, but there was no rest for me.
In You, Adonai, have I taken refuge: Let me never be put to shame. In Your righteousness, deliver me.
Let the prisoner’s groan come to You. By Your great arm preserve those who are doomed to die.
Be gracious to me, my Lord, for to You I cry all day.
Even when I cry out and call for help, He shuts out my prayer.
