For your salvation I wait, Adonai!

For he was wiser than all men—than Ethan the Ezrahite, or Heman, Calcol and Darda, sons of Mahol—and his fame was in all the surrounding nations.

My God, my God, why have You forsaken me? Distant from my salvation are the words of my groaning.

He will receive a blessing from Adonai, righteousness from God his salvation.

Of David. Adonai is my light and my salvation: whom should I fear? Adonai is the stronghold of my life: whom should I dread?

Do not hide Your face from me. Do not turn Your servant away in anger. You have been my help. Do not abandon me or forsake me, O God my salvation.

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and sustain me with a willing spirit.

He alone is my rock and my salvation, my strong tower—I will not be moved.

Blessed is the one You choose and bring near to dwell in Your courts! We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your House—Your holy Temple.

You went up on high. You led captivity captive. You received gifts from humanity, even from the rebellious— so that God might dwell there.

Help us, God of our salvation— for the sake of the glory of Your Name. Deliver us, and atone for our sins— for Your name’s sake.

Be gracious to me, my Lord, for to You I cry all day.

Behold, God is my salvation! I will trust and will not be afraid. For the Lord Adonai is my strength and my song. He also has become my salvation.”

On your walls, Jerusalem, I have set watchmen. All day and all night, they will never hold their peace. “You who remind Adonai, take no rest for yourselves,

and my spirit greatly rejoices in God, my Savior.

Won’t God do justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night? Will He be slow to help them?

For my eyes have seen Your salvation,

and then as a widow until age eighty-four. She never left the Temple, serving night and day with fasting and prayers.

Night time and day time we keep praying more than ever to see you face to face, and mend any shortcomings in your faith.

I thank God, whom I serve with a clear conscience as my forefathers did, when I continually remember you in my prayers night and day.

not stealing but showing all good faithfulness, so that they may do credit to the teaching about God our Savior in everything.

We wait for the blessed hope and appearance of the glory of our great God and Savior, Messiah Yeshua.
