I ponder the days of old, the years long ago.
Deep calls to deep in the roar of Your waterfalls. All Your waves and breakers have swept over me.
But know that Adonai has set apart the godly for His own. Adonai will hear when I call to Him.
But about midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
Let us examine and test our ways, and let us return to Adonai.

But no one says, ‘Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night,
“Remember the days of antiquity, understand the years across generations. Ask your father and he will tell you, your elders and they will say to you.
So my spirit grows faint within me. My heart is shocked within me.
I remember the days of old. I meditate on all You have done. I ponder the work of Your hands.
