O God, come quickly to deliver me, Adonai, to help me.
My accusers will be clothed in disgrace, and wrapped in shame as in a cloak.
A psalm of David. Adonai, I call to You— come quickly to me! Hear my voice when I call to You.
Be not far from me! For trouble is near— there is no one to help.
But You, Adonai, be not far off! O my strength! Come quickly to my aid!
May they be ashamed and humiliated, those who rejoice over my misery. May they who exalt themselves over me be clothed with shame and disgrace.
May those who seek my life be ashamed and disgraced. May they be turned back and humiliated —those who plot evil against me.
Adonai, please deliver me! Adonai, come quickly to help me!
Adonai has heard my cry for mercy. Adonai accepts my prayer:
O God, be not far from me! My God, come quickly to help me.
Let the accusers of my soul be disgraced and destroyed. Let those who seek to harm me be covered with scorn and confusion.
So the word of Adonai is to them ‘precept on precept, precept on precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little.’ So they walk, and fall backward, and are broken, trapped, and captured.
Behold, all who were angry at you will be ashamed and disgraced. Those who quarrel with you will be as nothing and perish.
So when Yeshua said to them, “I am,” they drew back and fell to the ground.
