Those who hate me without a cause outnumber the hairs of my head. Powerful are my enemies who would destroy me with lies. What I did not steal, must I restore?
I am numb and utterly crushed. I groan because of anguish in my heart.
For My eyes are on all their ways. They are not hidden from My face, nor is their iniquity concealed from My eyes.
For my iniquities are on my head— like a burden too heavy for me.
Moreover by them Your servant is warned. In keeping them there is great reward.
You have examined my heart. You searched me at night. Though You test me, You find nothing. I resolved that my mouth will not sin.
Do not let my deceitful enemies gloat over me without cause, nor let those who hate me for nothing wink an eye.
