A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in Adonai are like Mount Zion— it cannot be moved, but endures forever.

Rescue me, Adonai, from the evil man. Protect me from the violent men—

You destroy their offspring from earth, their seed from the children of men.

How long will you lie there, slacker? When will you get up from your sleep?

O Jerusalem, purify your heart from wickedness, so that you may be saved. How long will your wicked thoughts lodge within you?

I trained and strengthened their arms, yet they kept planning evil against Me.

And answering, Yeshua said, “O faithless and twisted generation! How long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring him here to Me.”

The Judean leaders also joined in the attack, affirming that these things were true.

David added, “As Adonai lives, either Adonai will strike him down, or his day will come to die, or he will go down to battle and be swept away.
