You hemmed me in behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me.

A refuge is the ancient God, and underneath are everlasting arms. He drove out the enemy before you and said, ‘Destroy!’

This poor man cried, and Adonai heard, and saved him out of all his troubles.

When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. But He placed His right hand on me, saying, “Do not be afraid! I am the First and the Last,

There is no arbitrator between us, who could lay his hand on us both;

Yet He did not raise His hand against the nobles of Bnei-Yisrael. So they beheld God, and ate and drank.
