I will never forget Your precepts. For with them You have kept me alive.

I will delight in Your decrees. I will never forget Your word.

My soul clings to the dust. Revive me according to Your word!

My comfort in my affliction is this: Your word has kept me alive.

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is of no benefit. The words I have spoken to you are Spirit and are life!

You have been born again—not from perishable seed but imperishable—through the living and enduring word of God.
