Do not say to your neighbor, “Come back later— I’ll give it tomorrow,” when you have it with you.

Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.

In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening do not let your hand be idle, for you do not know if this or that will succeed, or if both will prosper together.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do with all your strength, for there is no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol, where you are going.

I have stripped off my coat. How can I put it on again? I have washed my feet. How can I soil them?
