For Adonai will be your confidence and will keep your foot from a snare.

In the fear of Adonai one has strong confidence. It will be a refuge for His children.

For He will rescue you from the hunter’s trap and from the deadly pestilence.

He guards the steps of His godly ones, but the wicked are silenced in darkness. For one does not prevail by might.

Is not your piety your confidence, the integrity of your ways your hope?

He will not let your foot slip. Your Keeper will not slumber.
