For Adonai loves those He reproves, even as a father, the son in whom he delights.

Now you know in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so Adonai your God disciplines you.

Those whom I love, I rebuke and discipline. Therefore, be zealous and repent.

Correct your son and he will give you rest. He will bring delight to your soul.

He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent with discipline.

As a father has compassion on his children, so Adonai has compassion on those who fear Him.

because Adonai disciplines the one He loves and punishes every son He accepts.”
