Through the blessing of the upright a city is exalted, but by the mouth of the wicked it is destroyed.

A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

A king’s fury is like messengers of death, but a wise man will appease it.

If a wise man argues with a foolish man, he rants or laughs, with no resolution.
