Like one who takes a dog by the ears is a passer-by who meddles in a quarrel not his own.

An evil man seeks only rebellion, and so a cruel messenger will be sent against him.

The lips of a fool enter into an argument and his mouth invites a beating.

It is honor for one to resolve a dispute, yet every fool quarrels.

Like a madman shooting firebrands and deadly arrows

Do not quarrel with a man for no reason —if he has done you no harm.

But Yeshua said to him, “Man, who made Me a judge or arbitrator over you?”
