Adonai Elohim has given Me the tongue of the learned, that I may know how to sustain the weary with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning. He awakens My ear to give heed as a disciple.

The lips of the wise spread knowledge, but not so the heart of fools.

As ointment and perfume gladden the heart, so the sweetness of one’s friend comes from his sincere counsel.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, not hypocritical.

Insight is a fountain of life to one who has it, but folly leads to the discipline of fools.

Ephraim: “What more are idols to me? I have responded and observed Him. I will be like a luxuriant cypress tree. From me will be found Your fruit.”

Wisdom is found on the lips of the discerning, but a rod is for the back of one lacking sense.

As doing wickedness is delight to a fool, so is wisdom to a man of discernment.
